Might get up to 16F this afternoon...
This morning all the trees are covered in hoar frost....looks pretty out there!
No winds.
Should see some sun later on.
Dropping to -4F tonight...
I know everyone's so tired of this perpetual winter!
We are way overdue for a thaw. but it's not going to happen this week according to the forecast!!
Been reading up on The Pineapple Express that is developing over the Pacific which should eventually help to get us out of this deep freeze in the coming weeks!

India sounds pretty good right now. We are right at 32 degrees and it will warm up a little more through the day. There is a lot of snow to melt though.
had a dusting of snow this morning.......that was plenty for me.......now talk of another storm on thurs.....its neverending here....ugh...
The big mess never materialised thank goodness. We got maybe 1/2 inch of snow last night before it warmed right up & changed to rain. It got up to 48F and the sun came out for a while. I think we are probably done with winter now. This blast of cold was really late for us. If we get a blast like this it usually happens in January. Of course things seem to be changing everywhere now maybe it will fool me!
still warm and humid here.....86F today
Welcome to the forum, Ricky!

Should be really warm in India right now.
Hey Ron!

Awesome photos but tbh, I didn't see any driveway or roads. But hey, I wish we had that snow here.
It's 18*F and going up to 29*F today with snow flurries!

But we do get above freezing tomorrow so it may not last very long.
welcome ricky........
sunny and a big fat zero this morning........about 20 for a high for today.......still waiting for news on the thurs storm.....

12F and that will be our high for today!
Cloudy but should clear up this afternoon.
Heading down to 0F tonight...
Expecting some snow by Friday as the temps go up, from a weak system out of the northwest. Not expecting a lot of snow, it will be more of a wind event!
Then another weak system on Sunday...
Josh, the driveway is in front of my car, then it takes a sharp right up the incline to the road. With the winds out of the SW it gets covered in drifts and the the end of the drive at the road gets plowed in when the plows go by....Makes for a 'cannot go anywhere scenario' until I can get the driveway cleared out...

It has warmed up here into the 40's now and the snow is pretty well gone from the main roads. Side roads are still a hazard. I heard it raining during the night and it gas showered some during the day.

Sure wishing for a week long thaw!!!!
Might happen starting next week...maybe!
Hey Ron, I think I see the driveway and the road now in the first photo. That's a ton of snow! We never get anything like that here.
It's 28*F and going up to 42*F tomorrow. It was suppose to be 29*F today with snow flurries but it was 40*F and sunny.

It's gonna get even warmer all week but at least I got a ton of seeds and stuff ordered for spring... including lots of peppers, okra, and garlic!

minus 7 this morning.....burrrrrrr.......hearing the storm in GA is moving up and might become a noreaster......they are not giving my area totals yet, but they are saying maybe a foot in NYC.....so we may be on the outside fringe of this and not get much....if it comes further west, we will get hammered again.....then after that it looks like a little warmup.....will this finally be our winter thaw....I sure hope so, we so need a warm up here.

Looks like we will be starting to warm up...21F for this afternoon!!!
Not much in the way of snow in the forecast until Monday with a high of 30F.
Woke up to see all the trees and shrubs covered in hoar frost! Rarely see this happen since it occures on very cold still nights!!

I haven't wandered from the bedroom yet. I could hear the rain during the night. It was sometimes pretty heavy. The weather guessers did say though that were were not in any danger of flooding.

we are in for a fun time tomorrow.....snow starting early morning....as it moves up the coast.....they are talking any where between a foot to 20 inches.....work is open in the morning, but they are planning on closing early afternoon....hope its early enough to make it home.....called my aunt in SC and she said they are in the midst of an ice storm....she cannot see out her windows, because they are all ice......hoping Libby is ok as she is down in NC. julie is also down there now......prayers for all of us on the NE coast......its going to be a wild ride tomorrow.....
