34F and sunny!!
Going up to 36 this afternoon!! <---haven't see this temp in a long time!!!
Expecting just light winds this afternoon out of the SW..
39 for tomorrow<---even better!
Then 2 systems merge tomorrow evening bringing heavy rains and strong winds overnight into Friday with a high of 41!

12 this morning, and they are again talking about snow, ice, or rain coming this way....just what we need.......where is this melt we are supposed to have?

More and more rain...as Randy said flood warnings all around the area...no more snow here in my area....warm temps thouhj hit 49 yesterday morning...then it dropped fast...

We are having light rain and 35 degrees right now. It's a mite cool to work outside right now so hope it warms up a bit

The meltdown begins!
Got the car dug out so heading to town to do some business,,, then another town for supplies!
The roads should be clear with the 37F and sunshine!
Gotta get out....got cabin feaver bad!!!

everyone has cabin fever over here.........another snowstorm came thru this morning......from 11am to 11:30am we got 2 inches of snow.....I never saw this before.......everyone is worried about the roofs leaking now.....we so need a melt and tomorrow is the only day of high temps......ugh.......winter is wearing on ones soul this yr......moving south is looking pretty good.....

28F and partly sunny...for now!
Clouds are moving in, and we are sitting back waiting to see what happens when the Alberta Clipper and Texas Low arrive and merge over us!!! When they merge into one system it will quickly intensify!
100% for rain this afternoon and evening......then thunderstorms overnight with the potential of torrential downpours......
We could get a total of 12 to 14"s of rain!!!!

Update on the rain: We could get 10 to 20 inches!!!!
Wind will pick up and intensify as the event develops , wind speeds 40-50mph out of the SW!
Temp will rise to 36 this afternoon, 41 overnight.....

It is raining lightly here and we have solid overcast. Ron, I am really glad we don't gt the volume of rain you are talking about. That would cause major flooding here.

sounds like a real mess Ron.......we had 40 today and lots of melting......rain is coming in tonight, and thunderstorms???????????? what.......why cant we just have warmer weather and some melt.....we will be flooded here with all the rain they are talking about.....oh, and we are back to the polar air next week....come on, give us a break!

Update!
Got 4 inches of snow in one hour, before it warmed up! We had a thunderstorm when it snowed this afternoon and one blast was close to the house.....really weird having a signifcant dumping of snow with thunder and lightning!!
Had a break of no snow and no rain, now it's raining hard!
They downgraded the amount of possible rainfall to 5 to 10 inches which is still a lot, and will cause major flooding in low laying areas inland from us!
About a 3 hour drive north of us they are expecting a major snowfall!
The heavier rainfall will be overnight and into the morning (with embedded thunderstorms....should be all over at some point tomorrow afternoon...then we will have a freeze up as the temps start to drop as the coldfront passes through...then the winds out of the SW will become an issue!!

Well! They were wrong about the amount of rain! I put a pan out on the deck and there is only a bit more then an inch of water in it this morning!
They issued a wind warning for us.....winds 40 to 60mph out of the SW are possible as the coldfront moves in later on today..
34F with light rain.

rained here all night......didnt hear any thunderstorms........alot of snow has melted, but we have a long way to go.......still I got the call that men will be removing snow from the roofs starting today......its 40 and drizzling now......

We had some light rain overnight but not raining now. We are supposed to see the sun a little bit today. That will be nice as the war department and I will be traveling to Salem and back today.

alot of melting and flooding here with the rain today........tomorrow will be 50 and sunny......this I want to see and enjoy........but next week, besides the polar vortex, we are expecting maybe a noreaster.....ugh.....this winter has been so draining......there is so much damage at work.......ice falling and bringing down lines......and flooded lobbies and basements.......what a mess old man winter has brought the NE........

There was a lot of flooding around here in low laying areas!
Very windy and hovering around 32F....winds are expected to continue all night and all day tomorrow!
Gale force 40 to 60 mph!!!
Going back into teh deep freeze next week with another artic blast!!...at least it won't be as cold as it was in January!!
BTW...we still do not have running water!!! Going to have to wait until the ground thaws!!! Crap!!

Still a warm 36F but that will be changing as the polar vortex slowly moves south!
Still very windy with some pretty good gusts out of the SW....
Temp will be dropping each day once this warm flow of air leaves and is replaced by colder air from the north....at least for the next week!!
They are saying that spring will be late, so not to get our hopes up!!!!
