Thunderstorms a plenty late afternoon and overnight!
Over the last week we got between 4 and 6 inches of rain!!!
59F with a light breeze out of the NW....expecting more thunderstorms this morning then clearing this afternoon.
Humidity is at 100%.....
Going up to 64 this afternoon....
There's a fog bank out over the lake and looks like it is moving in!!!
Hazy sunshine for now...
Looks like we will be into the 70"s by Sunday and into next week......finally!
 
We have clear skies again this morning, The expected high is 81 degrees. Don't know if I can handle all that heat. LOL
 


We started out at 70 this morning and went up to 86 this afternoon. It was partly cloudy and there were a few sprinkles while we were out for recess. It wasn't even enough to warrant going back inside. All in all a rather nice day. A little windy there.

Showers expected today......as if we haven't had more then enough rain!!
 
rained all night and will rain this afternoon, heavy again, only about 60......then clear up for the holiday weekend.....expecting 80.....its about time I say......but nice that it arrived for the long holiday weekend......
 
We seem to have rain on most of our Memorial Day holidays and this year is no exception. We have clouds now with the possibility of showers but no rain at the present time. It got up to 80 or 81 yesterday but will be about 10 degrees cooler today.
 
Looks like spring is coming to an end starting today!!!

thats great news Ron.....spring is coming to an end here as well.......high 70's later today, tomorrow and 80+ on memorial day.....70's for all next week.....with some rain......think we are finally over the hump! its about time....

Going up to 73 this afternoon with a humidex of 77!!!
78F for tomorrow with a humidex of 83!!!!

Getting ready to plant the veggie garden in another week.....potted up the toms (Cherokee Purple) and acclimating them to outdoor conditions.
Mixed color bell peppers seedlings are next to pot up.....
Will be potting up all the cactus seedlings in the coming week.....

Will be cutting grass as soon as the dew burns off......it has been growing fast with all rain and now the heat we have been getting!!!
 
how is that cherokee purple tom Ron? I have been hearing alot about it lately.....

earlier is was gloomy, but now the sun has come out......it will be 85 today......I will be enjoying outside today.......grilling lateron...
 
It was pretty cloudy yesterday and we did get some sprinkles. The high for the day was 75 degrees. Today is looking pretty good so far with few clouds in the sky.
 
They are meaty and have a good flavor!! The flesh is dark like the flesh in a red/purple plum!! Very tasty!
Got up into the 80's inland but we only got up to around 70 with the winds off the lake!
Rain and thunderstorms on the way for tonight and into tomorrow!
 
got to the 80's yesterday.....its 65 here and supposed to get up near the 80's but then have rain lateron and the temps will drop....it was fun while it lasted....in another month we will be complaining its too hot.....never a happy medium.....tee hee

The cold front is taking it's time getting here.....thunderstorms expected this afternoon ahead of the front....after it passes the temps will be more seasonal and drier!
Might see a high of 75 depending on the winds!!
 
Good morning we have had about 3.5 inches of rain this weekend. The weatherman was saying that it rains most of our Memorial Day weekends. We are enjoying the rain and all my plants are happy today. We are still under a flood watch today and it was raining at 6 when I got up.
 
It was a little cool when I cam home from the nursing home, 61 degrees. There is no wind today though, si it feels warmer than yesterday. We have scattered clouds in the sky.
