In september we got the rain we didn't get all summer, but October has been for the most part really nice. lot's of sunny days and not too much rain. in fact on the weather tonight she said we were quite far under for normal. I know we will make up for it in november so I am not to worried. though it was showery and cloudy the past couple of days, tomorrow is supposed to bring us a week of sunny weather so we can get back out in the yard again and finish cleaning up the massive amounts of kiwi vine we had to cut off our roof that grew from the neighbors! eeek!

Hi Janet! Long time no see! The weather has not been 'Normal' here either!

64F with very light winds out of the NE.....a coldfront is expected to pass through at some point this evening bringing cooler weather.....dropping to 41 tonight...
High tomorrow around 50F!....then warming up a bit for the weekend!

I didn't even look at a thermometer today. It was cool enough when I went outside this morning to wear one of my heavier flannel shirts over my other shirt for a jacket. It was a sunny day though and I didn't wear the overshirt for long. I did put it back on shortly before sundown though as it was getting pretty cool again. We had a few clouds today but it was mostly sunny.

Hi Ron! and all! it was a busy time with family, but things are a bit quieter now thank goodness. We were lucky enough to be able to have our coffee on the deck this morning, it was so nice and warm! the day was a really nice one, but it is really cool tonight, we have the woodstove going, and even a little fire in the fireplace in the livingroom! The fall colours here are beautiful right now!! and there are mushrooms everywhere, so we are off up the mountain tomorrow for an outting to enjoy!

Frost on the rooftops this morning! There was a real nip in the air....
It's sunny with clear skies and 52F with a very light wind out of the east,,,
Should hit a high of 54 this afternoon.....

Most of the trees are naked now, they are mostly ash, and are stuggling to survive the emerald bores that have infected them, so they dropped their leaves early.....not too many maples in my area, but they are putting on a good show.....there is even a huge elm tree that is starting to color up, they're only a few surviving elms left in isolated areas that were not infected by the Dutch Elm disease back in the 1960's!

still alot of nice color trees here. It got to 72 both wed and thurs, but today was only 55 and windy. rain over the weekend and in the mid 50's.

We were close to getting frost last evening but didn't quite make it. We had a few more clouds today but it was still mostly sunny.

It was a really beautiful day here, sunny and warm enough to sit at the beach for lunch with just a sweater :)
the other picture is our newest grand child, Ava. She is 8 months old now. Her picture was from 2 days ago :)

Thankyou, she is the light of our lives right now! I live up in British Columbia Canada, just outside of Vancouver. You have to take a ferry to get to where we are. It is the Pacific Ocean :)
today is cooler and the sun was out in the morning, but it clouded over. It's supposed to come back tomorrow, I was hoping to get some fall foliage pics, and they are so much prettier against a blue sky!

52 and overcast this morning...with just a light breeze out of the SE.
Last night it was very windy with rain....rained all right. Should clear up this afternoon with a high of 54.

Frost on the rooftops this morning!
37 with clear sunny skies.....should get up to 52 this afternoon.
Very light breeze out of the east...

yesterday was cool enough to get the woodstove going, but then at night we were roasting! kicked off the covers and opened the window! today was so warm we needed no heat or jackets! It was a really beautiful sunny day, same on tap for tomorrow. Glad the weather will be good for our trip into Vancouver for my annual MRI.

Janet, hope your mri is a good one!

39F with some clouds....the sun peeks out every now and then.....a major system, actually two of them will merge together, will bring strong winds and heavy rain starting tonight and into tomorrow. They issued a Special Weather Warning ...could see 50+mph winds out of the SW with this system and heavy rains!
Should be party sunny this afternoon with a high of 55....

There's no such thing as an ugly kid. I think they ball can melt your heart. The seascape is a good picture too.

We had fog this morning until about noon. It was a bit chilly while we had the fog but it warmed up to about 60 once that was gone.

Thanks Ron! While it was a stunningly beautiful day, they used a different type of contrast agent during the mri this time, and I had a reaction, a bronchialspasm, I was not able to breathe well and couldn't swallow, it was really terrifying. they rushed me out of the machine and gave me a shot of antihistamine. They kept me in the emerg for a while to make sure I would be ok. that really wiped me out so we just went home after. I have had a lot of procedures and operations, and that was the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me.
it has only been getting down to about 50F at night so nothing near frost yet.
Yes Randy, you are correct! they are every one so cute, or beautiful in their own way! especially if they smile at you!!
