Hi
We're planning to make a new "no dig" border c 1.5 m x 12m on our lawn up against a wall on one side, and we garden on clay soil. Can anyone advise what the best type of compost is to use please ( on top of the cardboard)? The border will be mainly perennials with a few structural shrubs and is East facing. Also what depth do we need to lay down? Finally we're unsure how to create an edge between the border and existing lawn - do we just scrape the soil back from the edge of the lawn or there a better way? Many thanks! This forum is great 😃. ( For info so far we've been recommended to buy a well- known peat free compost with John Innes added)
