The botanical name of the globe gilia plant is Gilia capitata and the plant is actually one of the country’s prettiest native wildflower plants. The plant has lacy green foliage, upright two to three foot stalks and round clusters of small, blue flowers. Actually, growing this wonderful plant in your garden is not difficult if you live in a region with mild winter temperatures.
