I start all of my peas indoors as it speeds up germination and the stronger seedlings are more resilient to pests when transplanted.

With the weather this year there is no difference between one of the rows planted outside and one started indoors. These are double rows.

One of the outdoor rows is far stronger and better looking than either the other outdoor started or indoor started. It is weird to see the difference as these were sown on the same day with the same seed selection and the two rows are only 12 inches apart.
