You know what I'm going to do ~ sit at the window and watch ~ like a Stealth bomber, a Harrier helicopter. Thank you, Ron. Curbie

If it dies, I'll cry.....and cuss.... I was going to put this plant and one other outside, but it's supposed to snow soon so :) I'll love my leaf :) ~ Thanks, CG ~ :) Curbie

Stop staring at your banana Curbie!
You will give it a complex!
You would be the only banana grower with neurotic bananas!
You're going to kill it with tooooo much TLC!!

Oh gosh ~ a neurotic banana... I'm not looking at it again. Am I allowed to use binoculars towards it? Since her name is still 'Brat' , I will treat her as a brat. Boy, I'm one tough cookie :) "BACK OFF ! I have a LEAF!" now I have the hiccups...."YOU'RE not allowed to look at this leaf!" I am SO excited about a leaf...wait until I show MTM. :) ♫ I feel good... ♫ Curbie (Wait until I show MTM :) )

Wow Curbie that's great news! Ron's right though, how would you like to be stared at all day?:) You might make her a bit embarrassed and she may not put out another leaf for a while, due to all the fuss and attention that she received:D

OK ~ I guess being a parent of a new leaf, I need to back off and settle down! LOL! Thanks for everyon'e s psychological advice ~ Curbie :)

WTG Curbie!
Plants are like kids, you need to give them room to grow up, and have time alone to do their thing!
What you can do, every other day, is give the pot a quarter turn so the plant will come up 'straight' rather then have it bend and stretch towards the light

Thanks, Ron. We have this lovely bay window in our kitchen (the room I spend most of my time in) so I will certainly do that. ~ GrannieBananie :)

now......i haven't stared at my leaf....much....guess what ~ it's UNFURLING :) I'm getting a leaf ~ I'm getting a leaf ! I am very proud of my leaf. I won't know what to do with it later in the life span but man, 'Brat' is on a roll! :) :) Curbie :) :)

I'll try Wombat but my eye has been acting up. Thanks, Lyn! So.... I know 'she' still doesn't have a complex from me staring at her! ~ Curbie :)

Gosh, my goldfish died and I'm trying to post pictures of a banana leaf. OK ~ stand back and be in awe........awe......it's a leaf :) It's my favorite leaf b/c.... it's my ONLY leaf~ Curbie

Don't worry Curbie!
It will turn out another leaf soon!
You can snip out all the brown stuff to tidy the plant up!
