He needs stronger test line

buy him some then the excuse will be gone . lol!
Or go to the fish market and get a whole fish, then when he comes home say "look what I got today. It's Diamond Jim!"
Oh wait this is bananas I forgot for a minute.
Mine are looking better since we had real rain and not hose water!
Now THAT'S a good idea, CG! Hey, how are your fires? Oh, the banana plants are doing well .....thank you for asking. ~ Curbster

What kind of fish, Trax? I'm jealous of course. I never had a girl to teach me how to fish. I took my wife fishing in the early days of our marriage, but when she caught more fish than I did, I quit taking her. That's only part of the story though. The kids started coming along about then and she had her hands full taking care of them. I didn't fish much during those years either as I was working two jobs.

Curbs,
I hope I get bananas this year. It has been a couple years since any of mine produced.
NOW.....I think I've been schooled on the technique of shipping a banana 'thing'. I have a box it may fit in. Thanks to Wombat and learning how to trout fish I think I've learned how to do this. We shall see

~ Curbster
You'll have to do a youtube video too Curbs. It'll be fun to watch ya try and wrap up your babies and them to a new hone down south......good luck with the fishies too!
Wombat, that video was amazing and I was mostly paying attention. So I'll try

I have a
great idea ~ I'll just send her a trout in a box! "Sorry, I watched the wrong video." LOL! ~ Curbie

She says she can catch Trout and Catfish and a lot more. She even knows what kinds of bait they like the most. She uses some kind of meat for Catfish but she says it works best if she leaves the meat sitting out for 5 or 6 hours. I'll ask her which kinda meat when I see her today. She's been on a lot of fishing boats and knows tons of stuff about fishing!

Yeah, I want her around for a long time but not just for fishing...

She's awesome!

Oh, banana.
One Banana Brain ~ Two Banana Brains ~

I
love catfish. I didn't like fish growing up but then I had swordfish and then tilapia. MY FAV is catfish! ! ! ! !Where do you two fish? Shoreline or boat? That experience of hers is invaluable. I'd stick with her

~ MamaNana
Wow! Catfish is my fav too!

We've been fishing on shore at lake Thunderbird and lake Canton but we've fished on boats too! I wanna learn to catch all kinds of stuff cause I love oysters, clams, crab, shrimp, well almost all seafoods but prolly not octopus, lol.

Josh,
Banana ;
I am sure if she is a smart girll she will stick around.

just don't out fish her. If you do out fish her, don't make a big deal about it.
Here's wishing you luck!!!!

No worries. If I start catching too many fish I might let some get away. I like her more than the fish!

Bananas.

I was thinking that too, Curbie. I cannot think of a better way to make a young fellow enjoy fishing. I bet they even talk to each other.

I'll bet she's a mermaid. Now I have the hiccups.... Curbie

I think it's great to find a gal that likes to fish. But a gal that can teach you to fish is awesome.
