Happy 1st of May Everyone!!
We are having a sunny break from the rain this morning gradually clouding over this afternoon.
46F going up to 54 this afternoon.
Rain moving back is from another system this evening....
18 mph winds out of the SW.
Rain for tomorrow and Saturday....
Yesterday was a beautiful day and I got a lot of stuff done. I was pretty tuckered out by late afternoon though. It got up to 84 degrees as promised and I turned on the air conditioning in the truck for the first time this season. It's supposed to be a little warmer than that today and I am going to try and get the tractor ready for the season; oil change, filter change, and grease all the fittings.
It is another sunny day here. We are at 74 and going to 76 today. We have a nice breeze again so I'd better get my yard work done before it gets hot. It should be up in the 90's by Sat. No rain in sight for us so we will take any you don'e want.
we got to 70 today.....yippeeeeeeee......the humidity from last nights storm brought our temps up.....finally a spring/summer like day.....great to have the windows opened again......
Bought a new 10 ft x 10 ft gazebo with a hard top rather then canvas today! This one will be great...no more shredded canvas this year!
I maybe pushing it but I want warm weather!!!!!
45F with light winds out of the SW with more rain on the way.
Tomorrow I will be removing the old gazebo (should be good for making sturdy tomato stakes) and start putting up the new one.... will hold off putting the top section up for a few more weeks!
The top is made of polycarbonate so should be light enough to get it together and placed on the frame....... The instructions look like a chinese puzzle, should be fun!!
sounds lovely Ron.....I love gazebo's.....they are so pretty, esp if you put lights on it.....hope it goes together easily for you....Randy built one a few yrs back.....with some flowers around it, it will be a nice place to escape from summers heat...that is if we ever get any heat.....
it was sunny and 60 this morning, but this afternoon, its cloudy and looks like rain......the wind now makes it feel chilly again.....darn I wish it would warm up......
Winter has arrived here!! It's struggling up to 67F today.......cold 35 knot winds and snow reported down south already which is very early, will be about 40F tonight. I'll have to get my winter woolies out of hibernation
That is early for you john!
Hope it is not the pattern for you!
45F didn't get anything done today because of the rain...
Tomorrow will be a better day with a high of 52...
Here's some photos of the rainbow that appeared after a shower yesterday.....a thunderstorm rolled in shortly after I took these.
39F with clouds moving in.
Should be partly sunny with a few isolated showers today with light winds out of the west shifting from the NW this evening.
48 and super windy here......feels colder than that......sunny tho which is a plus...
wow thats cold for you, isnt it John.....didnt think it got down that low over there.....
Well we made it to 70F today.......wind has dissipated a bit but at least it was fine and sunny........49F tonight though...brrrr! I hope not too Ron lol....Bobbi it can get down to the 30's at night here but that usually occurs in July the coldest month, when we get the occasional frost, hopefully not this year......
Congrats on the new gazebo, Ron! Cool rainbow shots too!
LOL @ Wombat! Good luck getting some warm weather back!
We hit 95*F yesterday and it's 63*F now. Going back up to 95*F today! Got the tomato garden dug and planted and I'm getting a new banana plant soon. My peppers are up about 4" tall now. This should be an awesome summer!
its 50 and sunny this morning with a stiff NW wind.......doesnt feel very warm out, but maybe lateron it will warm up more...
wow john, cant believe that australia can get down to 30??? thats amazing......
Sunny and 53F.
Going up to 55 this afternoon with mostly sunny conditions.
Got the frame all done yesterday. Need help to get the frame up on the posts! Then I will be able to get the roof assembled with the panels.
I am impressed with the sturdiness/rigidity of the framework so far. The posts will be easy to bolt down to the deck.
Like the idea of using bolts rather then nuts and bolts to get everything snug......looks like this gazebo will be able to withstand a lot of high winds that we get!!
Here's a pic of of the one I bought ......I didn't get the screening since it would be a pain with the winds that we get!
