Does anyone plant bougainvillea flowers in front of their house like this?

This is a house growing bougainvillea in Vietnam.

In Vietnam, you will occasionally see houses with trees growing over the doors like this. However, many people also believe that planting such trees will cause snakes to appear. There are also mosquitoes and other insects. Besides, it also requires regular care and pruning
