I have a fairly mature English Holly tree which is four metres away from my kitchen extension. It is approximately 9-10 feet in height and I am concerned that its roots may damage the foundations of a wall which it is growing next to as well as potentially causing damage to my house. I'd appreciate any advice as to whether now is the time to cut my losses and dig it out. It's the tall upright holly in the picture.
