My girlfriend and I have started the process of making a garden in the beautiful northwest, and were looking to get any and all information about how to go about it. What works, what doesn't, when to plant, when to transfer from the indoor garden, etc.

If anyone has any tips, links, sources, advice, I'd be extremely grateful.

Welcome to our forum!
There is a lot of info on all the thread topics so feel free to read up!
If your have specific questions ask away and hopfully one of us will have the answer!

where in the NW do you live?? Randy lives in oregon......and he is an awesome person to ask questions about anything......

Welcome misterk,
I am at the opposite end of the states from you, but One thing I find that alot of new gardeners are interested in, is organics. If you have a desire to keep yourself chemical free it's worth reading up on organics. I will be happy to help if you have any questions.

I once read a dog training book that said " If you don't have a good dog , this book won't help" LOL So applying that to gardening, if you don't have good soil, ....fix that first before you add plants. ;) Feel free to start a thread topic with your questions , ask and they will answer. Glad you are here!

Welcome welcome
Where do you live, what hardiness zone are you in, and do you want to plant perennials, annuals, veggies or all of the above.
If we have this info we can surely help you out.

Well, it's been nearly a month since the original post asking for tips, links and etc. Should we assume you have all the info you need? I was hoping you'd be a regular contributor and I might learn something of gardening in your area. Looks like just another "drive-by" poster.

ah I missed them...well there is always hope they will return...I am also in the PNW and would love to talk with you all..
