Has anyone ever tried growing peas in a pot or hanging planter ? Waas thinking of doing a few that was-just to get enough snow peas for salads, but not sure if there would be enough soil in a hanging planter to sustain them. Any suggestions?

I planted some the last 2 yrs in the 1/2 barrels and they did good. i put a trellis in it for them to grow up

I haven't planted peas for several years but I never tried them in a container.

Just trying to figure out how many per pot.
MG----do you remember if they have a very big root system?
