7-up Pound Cake

3 sticks butter, softened
3 cups sugar
5 large eggs at room temperature
1 cup 7-up at room temperature
3 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon extract

Preheat oven 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar until light and flully. Add eggs one at a time until mixed. Add flour alternately with 7-up until mixed. Add vanilla and lemon. Pour into prepared bundt or tube pan and bake for 1 hr 15 minutes.

When we want strawberry shortcake, we serve it with sweetened frozen strawberries and cool whip.

PS. I will have mine with chocolate ice cream please:)

Sounds yummy Cyndy, I have to try it that way.

My grandson spent the night. He asked to have a slice so I cut it. My youngest daughter came home late from work and I see she cut a slice too.
