Erigeron comes to mind, common name is Fleabane.
Thank's Ron I googled and Fleabane seem's to be what I have.

Looking in the National Audubon Society field guide to wildflowers, eastern region it looks like ox eye daisy. Our fleabane petals are much thinner. Do you get ox eye daisy in the south?
Annette I googled the ox eye daisy .The body of the plant does'nt look like what I have.
The fleabane look's like it though.
Looks like Fleabane or False Aster (Boltonia)
Ron
More wildflower's I don't know the name.
