We just moved here in the fall and trimmed this tree/bush alot. So whatever they are haven't seen any sunshine for years. I dug around a couple and they seem to be growing from runners? rhizomes?

Well Mare I just am not sure. But someone will know I'm sure.
Hi haven't seen ya for a while, glad to see ya.

Cool! I hope our cold weather doesn't hurt them. Winter is back in SW MT.
We also have some roses that aren't doing anything yet.
There were some other bulbs out in front of the tree. They aren't coming up yet. I hope they are daffs.

Mare Daylilies are very forgiving of Ma Nature

I had tossed some "babies" to the side one time and forgot all about them
and they grew and bloomed even with not being in the ground for a year :p
