They make a large brown moth and their used for fish bait here.Don't take them long to eat the leaves off the tree.

Fish bait sounds like a good idea.

Yeah it would Randy but no place to go here.Anyone who own's a pond want let anyone go fishing.None of them are ever open to the public.

Here's another little beauty it finally got still for a second to snap a picture.

When I was a kid in Texas we called the dragonflies 'snake doctors'. I have no idea where that came from and I am sure they have nothing to do with snakes. Probably some kid came up with a cock and bull story and kids believed it.

LOL! I haven't known anyone here lately to use that term. Tim and I both use it and people think we are crazy! There must be a wide spread story about it to go from coast to coast. I'll have to Google it.

Found another green critter this weekend. It stood up and tried to attack my camera.Picture's not very good but sharing anyway...

You know I found one also he was hanging out on my holding tank for our well. I picked him, up and gave him an escort to the garden. It was a long walk and he kind of scared me a bit. He kept looking at my face and cocking his head as if to size me up for attack. Those heads with those eyes are really intimidating. Now I know where they got the idea for the movie Predator

Spider,
Aren't you glad you are not his size?!?!?!
I think I have a place to get us some red myrtle cuttings. I have to wait till the people are home and ask, they have to large not so nice dogs in the yard. Mine just is so sick and it didn't even bloom this year just one or two flowers. I sure don't want to send you a sick cutting. I am thinking I may just have to yank that tree. I can't seem to get it healed. :( My bad just to overwhelmed to take care of everything

Awww Crabber thank's for thinking of me.Don't worry about cutting's would'nt want you to hurt yourself collecting them.I have been looking but none to be found here. It's not a big deal anyway .

I don't know how they manage, but I get one of those on my head/neck area just about every time I go into the garden. I just shake them off and go about my business.
