Sambucus 'Black Lace'

Common name: Elderberry
Foliage is black and lacy.
Used as a substitute for Japanese Maples.
Grows 8' to 9' high, but can be kepted smaller with pruning.
I'm training mine as a small tree but can be left on its own to form into a large shrub.
Partial shade to full sun. Foliage color is best in full sun.
Flowers are pink clusters followed by dark, almost black edible berries.
A very easy plant that adds an elegant touch to the garden.
