my new puppy is using my kitten as a chew toy,has made a sore on his neck,but to dumb to bite or scathe the puppy. Will hot pepper help to stop this problem.
 
Pepper might hurt the kittens skin.
Maybe you could buy one of those collars that has some kinda metal bumps or spikes.
Not so much spikes but you get the idea. Or cut the top off of an old sock and roll it and use it as a collar.

The sock cuff slid over his head and around his neck might pad the kittens neck enough to help too.
 
Also there is bitter apple spray you can use. It take horrible and puppy may not like it. You don't have to spray the skin , just the fur;)

Also while you are around, get a squirt bottle and fill it with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water. Everytime the puppy grabs the kitten, squirt him. Try to aim for his face;) it stings a little but won't hurt him.
 
Will try that, hubby put the puppy a chain for a little bit he left the kitten aloan for a 1/2 hour but when right back to it.
