Maggie, the russian sage I let go until spring and then cut it down to the ground and it grows back every year. I have some in other areas and it doesn't grow as well. I think it is just really happy there. Seems everything out there grows well...including the weeds. I hope to get a gazebo out there one day so I can enjoy that garden more. Its rather far from the house, but it is pretty from a distance.
Thank You all for your kind words about my Azalias, The large Pink bushes were on the property when we bought it, we planted the coral 2 years ago they bloom several times a year where the pink only bloom once but OH what a show!!!

Laurie, I have never tried to grow this variety from seed, I did WS some other JPW last year though and it did great. I will try to get some seeds from it this year and share them with you.
So sorry I haven't been here in a couple of days. Have to catch up
Smelly Melly the other gardens you have are also beautiful. That Day Lily looks happier then a pig in poop and the oregano is so beautiful, I did miss it in the first picture.
I would put the JoePyeand the Saliva in the purple bed. I am not familiar with Hyssop. I don't think I am really good with colors but I try to use either contrasting colors or whites to brake up the different shades of the same color. or use different shades of greens. I almost forgot the Columbine what a beautiful plant that is. I had afew of them but none as stunning as yours.
Maggie your flowers are so nice, the Day Lilies are beautiful. I have never seen the Vitex Bush, that is a knockout and such a nice pond.
Treva -- boy you got such growth in the couple of years . Please post more of your pics.
