These are beautiful! My closest neighbor hit the mother load. She got hundresds of day lilies from an heirloom nursery when the old man died. How ever they were not marked for color. Our season for blooming is almost over. However the nes that are blooming she is marking and sharing with me as they bloom out. She gave me 2 on Friday one is yellow with a purple center and one yellow with burgandy edges. Both had already bloomed but next year they will be posted for you to see. This man had done a lot of breeding so she thinks we will have some unsual colors.
SCORE!!!!!! CG how wonderful, What a great friend
seeing some that I would love to get my hands on, any extra bulbs let me know and we will work out something, I just started mine this year so should have bulbs next year I hope.

Welcome to our forum we have a great time here so sit back relax and ENJOY!!!!!!
I think They are common daylilies, sometimes called ditch lillies. I really like them they are such a pretty color
I don't think common daylilies are bi-colored, are they? Beautiful, whatever variety they are.
few of the end of summer lilies.

A lot of people call them Ditchliles, which is about right on where they are found growing!
Personally, I find them rather drab after growing wonderful hybrids!!

Sorry!
That one with the green throat is one of the ones I created from cross pollenating some named hybrids!
They only exist in my collection and I havent named it yet!
They are sitting in pots waiting for me to dig a new garden home for them!
If you would like one you will have to wait a few years until they are ready to divide!
I have 33 potted hybrids and crosses that I brought with me from the city! They will probably have to wait until next spring before I can get them in the ground! They are very easy to winter over in pots!
The tag is outside in the pot, we are having a wind storm today so I will look tomorrow with the lineage and post it for you!
Here is another photo.
